What Is There To See?

Now the Pool of London is one of London’s major tourist sites. The fact that it was London’s heart is enough to make it a major landmark, though there is plenty more to see. The two bridges at either end are the first major points of interest. The world-famous and postcard-worthy Tower Bridge sits at one end, with London Bridge at the other. Sat in the middle of the Pool, sightseers will find H.M.S Belfast, the most powerful British world war two cruiser. On the other side of the river, the Tower of London overlooks the Pool. Other sights include a medieval prison, a world-famous food market, and the oldest cathedral in London.

Walking from one bridge to the other, crossing the river, and walking back on the other side is the best way to see it all.

The area makes a great base for London trips with its range of hotels to suit all budgets, its proximity to the cream of London's visitor attractions as well as its great road, rail, Underground and river transport links.
